My name is Cherine, half English half Chinese, originally from Hong Kong and I created Bristol Foodie a few years ago with the aims of simply wanting to share my exciting culinary adventures as I eat and drink my way through Bristol and beyond!
I realised how hard COVID has hit our beloved Bristol's food & drink scene. It was utterly hard to see indie businesses suffer from all the endless uncertainties and challenges. Since then, I set my heart to do something about it and I wanted to make a difference. I left my full-time job to dedicate all my time to building Foodiependent - an independent food & drink movement and platform that brings our food lovers community together to help support all of our many amazing indies out there.
Even though my time will be dedicated to helping independents in the South West, I will still continue to go out to eat, review food, post on Instagram, Bristol Foodie, as much as possible to help you find the best food & drink places to go to.
